Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and ECO on November 6, 2008
(Hendersonville, 10/19/08) — Fall is here! Come warm up and enjoy the crisp air and colors of the season with a guided walk in the Sammy Williams neighborhood on Thursday, November 6 at 9:00 a.m. The starting point is the Sammy Williams Senior Center on the corner of Justice and 3rd. The Walk Wise Drive Smart route is approximately 1 1/2 miles but the more adventurous walkers are welcome to explore this beautiful neighborhood and its' nearby walking trails at their own pace.
Aimed at senior citizens but open to everyone, we invite you to come get some good exercise, enjoy the scenery and conversation, or just explore new trails. The walk should take about an hour. Canceled in the event of bad weather.
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by and Walk Wise, Drive Smart, ECO and Diamond Brand Outdoors.
