Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, ECO on October 4.
(Hendersonville, NC, 9/20/07) - Guided Historical Neighborhood Stroll On Thursday, October 4, a guided walk will be held in the Druid Hills neighborhood at 10 am. Starting point will be the Patton Park entrance, off Asheville Highway 25. Park near the � mile walking trail and basketball courts. Aimed at senior citizens, but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy some healthy exercise and a guided tour of this beautiful neighborhood by long time local residents and dedicated walkers Joe Poole and Gary Eblen. The walk is approximately 1.7 miles, and should take about 1 hour. Canceled in the event of rain.
