Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart and ECO on September 6.
(Hendersonville, NC, 8/27/07) -Early Bird Downtown Stroll! On Thursday, September 6, a guided walk will be held Downtown at 9 am. Starting point is the Sammy Williams Senior Center at 301 N Justice St, Hendersonville, NC. Aimed at senior citizens, but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy this beautiful shaded historic neighborhood, a little downtown gallery-gazing and some healthy exercise. The walk is approximately 1 mile, and should take about 45 minutes to an hour. Canceled in the event of rain.
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by ECO and Walk Wise, Drive Smart. "I always enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a pretty downtown morning walk, and I hope you'll come and join us!" says hike leader Sam Lovelace.
