Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and ECO on September 4, 2008
(Hendersonville, 08/25/08) — Fall is on it's way! Come celebrate the onset of the season with us On Thursday, September 4. A guided walk will be held at Osceola Lake at 9:00 a.m. Starting point is the small unpaved lot across from the Coppercrest Inn on Osceola Road, off Willow. Aimed at senior citizens but open to everyone, we invite you to come get some good exercise, a breath of fresh — and hopefully cooler — air and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.
The walk should take about an hour. Canceled in the event of bad weather.
"There is definitely something special about a walk around the lake on a September morning," says Sam Lovelace, hike leader, "I hope you'll come and join us."
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by and Walk Wise, Drive Smart, ECO and Diamond Brand Outdoors.
