Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and the Healthy Aging Coalition of Henderson County on Thursday, August 6, 2009.
(Hendersonville, 8/3/09) — On Thursday, August 6, the monthly Walk Wise walk will begin at the Copper Crest Inn parking area at 9 am and follow the Osceola Lake loop. About one and a half miles, the loop is one of several urban routes identified through the Walk Wise, Drive Smart pedestrian initiative. Walkers will meet in the Inn's side parking lot off Willow Street at 9 am. Michele Skeele of the Council on Aging for Henderson County will lead the moderate walk around the lake. Aimed at older adults but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy the morning with us. Canceled in the event of rain.
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks which take place on the first Thursday of the month in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors, and the Healthy Aging Coalition.
