Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and the Healthy Aging Coalition on Thursday, March 5, 2009.

(Hendersonville, 03/02/09) — On Thursday, March 5, a guided walk will be held in the Hyman Heights and Druid Hills neighborhoods beginning at 10:00 am. Starting point is the Patton Park parking area off Highway 25 North in Hendersonville. Gary Eblen of Diamond Brand Outdoors will be leading the moderate 1½ mile walk through these historic neighborhoods. Aimed at senior citizens but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy the morning with us. Canceled in the event of rain, snow, or ice.

This walk is one of a series of monthly walks beginning again for 2009 in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors, and the Healthy Aging Coalition.
