Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and the Healthy Aging Coalition on Thursday, February 5, 2009.
(Hendersonville, 01/29/09) — On Thursday, February 5, a guided walk will be held in the Osceola Lake neighborhood beginning at 10:00 am. Starting point is the parking area near Copper Crest Inn off Willow Road. Gary Eblen of Diamond Brand Outdoors will be leading the moderate 1 ½ mile walk around Lake Osceola and Michele Skeele will be on hand for winter birding. Aimed at senior citizens but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy the morning with us. Canceled in the event of rain, snow, or ice.
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks beginning again for 2009 in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors, and the Healthy Aging Coalition.
