Walk Sponsored by Walk Wise, Drive Smart, Diamond Brand Outdoors and ECO on February 7, 2008
(Hendersonville, NC, 7/31/07) — On Thursday, February 7, a guided walk will be held in the Hebron neighborhood at 12:00 pm. Starting point is the parking lot of the Carolina Baptist Association at the corner of Hebron and Willow. Sam Lovelace will be leading a walk in the residential Hebron neighborhood, just off Kanuga Road. A semi-rural neighborhood, this walk offers moderate inclines and some lovely meadow views as well as a pretty neighborhood. Aimed at senior citizens, but open to everyone, we invite you to come enjoy the winter sun, good conversation, and a nice bit of exercise. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles, and should take about an hour. Canceled in the event of rain, sleet or snow.
This walk is one of a series of monthly walks in the Hendersonville community co-sponsored by and Walk Wise, Drive Smart, ECO and Diamond Brand Outdoors. "This is the time of year when I most need to get out and get moving. I hope you�ll join us!" said hike leader, Samantha Lovelace.
